About This Role
- Build and maintain high-performance, scalable, complex distributed systems end to end within the Webex Data Analytics Platform.
- Contribute to and maintain a future-ready, high-quality, performant codebase using technologies including Java, Python, and Go.
- Collaborate across teams to design development strategies aligned to product requirements, participate in reviews, and share technical solutions and ideas.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years experience in developing and maintaining enterprise-grade applications.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and Go or other modern programming languages.
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and SOA/microservices architecture.
- Experience building large asynchronous task systems and scalable distributed systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced technical leader comfortable owning end-to-end distributed system development at scale within a data platform environment.
- Hands-on expertise in microservices and asynchronous messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ, with knowledge of frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Docker), RESTful services, and modern development best practices including use of AI tools for coding and testing.
