About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain reusable, tested code for core applications and customer-facing interfaces.
- Drive expansion and modernization of Python and Ruby-based web services, including engineering scalable, secure APIs from legacy code.
- Collaborate with product team and remote colleagues, integrating AWS Serverless technologies and following best practices like CI and SCRUM.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years in software development including 3+ years with Python.
- 3+ years experience with web frameworks (Rails, Rack, Django preferred).
- 1+ years experience with Angular, React, or Vue.js and demonstrated work with AWS services (Lambda, SQS, S3).
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.

- Experienced developer comfortable working in a product-driven, remote team environment with cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficient in maintaining and refactoring legacy systems towards modern, secure API-driven architectures.
- Skilled in both backend (Python, Ruby, AWS) and frontend technologies (JavaScript frameworks), with knowledge of containerization and testing practices.
