About This Role
- Execute and maintain retail banking back-office transaction support and account lifecycle servicing ensuring operational workflow and compliance.
- Manage financial and non-financial ledger postings, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure accuracy for audit readiness and financial reporting.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to reduce manual tasks, improve turnaround times, and mitigate operational risks through data analysis and automation.
Minimum Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in banking operations, financial services processing, or corporate business operations with retail banking product knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Excel functions and experience with core banking systems and ledger accounting.
- Ability to work India Core Night Shift supporting US business hours and availability for peak processing periods including month-end/quarter-end closes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in financial reconciliation, discrepancy investigations, and operational controls within retail banking environments.
- Strong analytical skills for root-cause analysis of transaction breaks and workflow inefficiencies, with hands-on experience in automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, RPA, Python, VBA).
- Effective communicator with ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders including operational leads, audit, and business partners in a process-oriented, compliance-driven role.
