About This Role
- Lead and manage engineering teams building enterprise-grade distributed systems for Apple’s finance technology functions.
- Own team delivery, code quality, system scalability, performance, and resiliency related to finance operations technology.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, QA, support, and partner teams, including contractors and distributed colleagues.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years building and scaling enterprise-grade systems, with 8+ years hands-on in production systems.
- 3+ years experience leading, managing, and mentoring engineering teams.
- Proficiency in at least one mainstream backend language and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or Oracle).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

- Experienced technical leader who remains hands-on in design and coding while managing team delivery and growth.
- Proven ability to deliver large complex systems with high performance, scalability, and resiliency.
- Familiarity with finance or enterprise business systems and comfortable managing distributed teams including contractors.
