About This Role
- Design and develop high-performance backend services using Ruby on Rails, Python, and TypeScript with React.js frontends to manage millions of global network devices.
- Build and optimize PostgreSQL database models and queries to support low-latency, high-throughput operations at scale.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with firmware, backend, SRE, product, and UX teams to convert complex network data into intuitive user workflows and maintain coding standards through code reviews and automated testing.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years professional experience developing medium to large-scale distributed web applications with clean, maintainable, test-driven code.
- Proven full stack development expertise: Ruby on Rails backend, ReactJS and JavaScript/TypeScript frontend.
- Strong experience in database schema design, indexing, and SQL query optimization with PostgreSQL or relational databases.
- Work Experience Required: 7+ years
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in owning end-to-end feature development from architectural design through production deployment in complex environments.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams involving firmware, backend services, SRE, and product to deliver integrated network management solutions.
- Familiar with or curious about enterprise networking, network security, large-scale microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern observability/CI-CD tooling.
