About This Role
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs supporting design, infrastructure, and technology platforms.
- Implement new customer requirements and features in existing applications, maintaining and enhancing the code base.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and possibly travel (<10%) for on-site customer support.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years experience; or advanced degree with no experience; or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Software, Design, or Programming including Design Patterns and Finite State Machines.
- Knowledge of multithreading, including preemptive thread scheduling.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 2 years or advanced degree without experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience designing and developing software tools that integrate with hardware platforms in a centralized software engineering environment.
- Comfortable working with object-oriented design principles and multithreaded programming.
- Willingness to collaborate cross-functionally and occasionally support customers onsite with limited travel (<10%).
