About This Role
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for automation and industrial project materials and services.
- Lead competitive bidding, RFQ/RFP processes, techno-commercial evaluations, and contract negotiations with suppliers.
- Manage end-to-end procurement and logistics operations including purchase orders, supplier follow-ups, expediting, delivery tracking, and compliance with Indian customs and import/export policies.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related discipline) mandatory.
- 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, and logistics, preferably in automation, industrial technology, power, or electrical engineering sectors.
- Experience in project-based sourcing for automation or industrial projects (e.g., DCS, SCADA, drives, switchgear, instrumentation, MV/LV panels).
- Work Experience Required: 10 to 15 years in relevant fields.

- Experience working in companies of similar scale and complexity to ABB, especially in automation or engineering firms.
- Proven track record of delivering cost savings, supply chain optimization, and supplier development in a project procurement environment.
- Strategic operator with combined expertise in procurement, supply chain management, and compliance in industrial automation or related projects.
