About This Role
- Lead multiple medium to high complexity new product development projects end-to-end, ensuring launch on time, on budget, within cost and quality KPIs.
- Manage project capital, expenses, and resource expenditures to meet financial metrics and control costs.
- Develop and execute project schedules, communication plans, risk management, stakeholder management, and change control to ensure smooth project delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) required; Master's degree preferred.
- 10-15 years overall experience or 8-12 years with Master's, including 5-6 years in project management in industrial product/hardware domain.
- Proficient with Toll Gate/Stage Gate process in product development, Microsoft Project, MS Office tools, and project ROI analysis (NPV, IRR, Payback).
- Work Experience Required: 5-6 years in project management in industrial product/hardware domain.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience leading distributed and multi-cultural cross-functional teams in industrial product or hardware development projects.
- Strong expertise in stakeholder and requirement management, manufacturing process knowledge (moulding, stamping, plating), and global communication at all levels.
- Familiarity with regulatory approval processes (UL, RED, CSA, CQC, VDE), Agile project management, and possessing PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
