About This Role
- Drive and manage tax operations activities including tax reclaim facilitation, transaction tax booking, and client tax document issuance across multiple business lines.
- Collaborate with senior management and global teams to lead initiatives, identify control weaknesses, mitigate risk, and improve tax compliance and reporting processes.
- Support design, testing, and implementation of tax systems and processes while leveraging data analytics and technology to optimize procedures and scale operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with minimum 4 years relevant experience in Operations, Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Must have proven leadership experience managing teams, projects, or functions, preferably in financial services industry.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across products, regions, and functions to meet tax regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 4 years relevant work experience as explicitly mentioned in the JD.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in financial services industry with a background in tax operations, compliance, or related financial regulatory functions.
- Demonstrated ability to work with and influence senior/executive-level stakeholders and lead cross-functional projects globally.
- Strong analytical mindset with capability in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, Alteryx) and experience in process improvement, regulatory compliance, and system implementation.
