About This Role
- Supervise a team of junior and senior associates managing client accounting workstreams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of accounting services.
- Oversee daily accounting operations including ledger accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and operational performance metrics while maintaining compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field; CA, CPA, CA Inter, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience including team coordination or supervisory roles in managed services, outsourcing, or shared services.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial statements, US GAAP, and accounting operations including reconciliations and close processes.
- Experience with cloud accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing and coaching accounting teams in a client service or managed accounting environment with accountability for service levels and quality.
- Comfortable working with US GAAP standards and able to identify and escalate accounting and reporting issues appropriately.
- Interested in continuous improvement through automation and technology adoption in accounting processes.
