About This Role
- Define and execute India's data strategy, architecture roadmap, data governance, and enterprise data platform to support regulatory reporting, AI innovation, and business growth.
- Lead central India NFRR regulatory reporting function, driving accuracy, automation, governance, and compliance.
- Serve as India's designated Data Privacy Officer ensuring compliance with data privacy laws and embedding privacy-by-design principles.
Minimum Requirements
- 15+ years of relevant experience in enterprise data strategy, platforms, and governance.
- Relevant degree qualification; certifications in data management, architecture, privacy or cloud preferred.
- Experience in financial services or global banking organisations with strong stakeholder management at executive level.
- Role is based in Mumbai, India; working model is hybrid.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership in driving large-scale data platform transformation aligned to regulatory and business requirements, especially within banking.
- Experienced in managing cross-functional teams and interfacing with senior business, risk, and technology stakeholders.
- Strong expertise in regulatory reporting, data privacy (DPDPA), governance frameworks, and emerging tech like AI and cloud platforms.
