About This Role
- Lead the technical direction and architectural evolution of a live consumer mobile app built with React Native, ensuring scalability and reliability as usage grows.
- Plan and execute significant architectural changes and technical decisions related to monitoring, performance, release safety, and incident response while preserving user continuity.
- Collaborate closely with existing developers and stakeholders to translate product priorities into technical delivery plans and contribute hands-on through coding, prototyping, and code reviews.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience including reasoning across mobile architecture, APIs, and data flows.
- 5+ years of hands-on React Native experience with recent production deployments on iOS and Android.
- 2+ years of technical ownership experience involving architecture decisions for live consumer applications with measurable user activity or traffic.
- Experience leading production reliability decisions (monitoring, performance, release safety, incident response) and actively contributing to engineering work; Work Experience Required: Explicitly stated above.
