About This Role
- Lead application modernization by re-architecting, containerizing, and migrating monolithic applications to cloud or hybrid environments using Kubernetes and microservices.
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure with Terraform and automate server configuration and deployment using Ansible.
- Define and track reliability metrics (SLOs, SLAs, error budgets) and implement automated remediation to reduce incident response time; integrate infrastructure automation into CI/CD pipelines ensuring consistent deployments.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering with focus on infrastructure automation and application modernization.
- Expert-level proficiency in Terraform state management, modules and multi-cloud provisioning; strong hands-on experience with Ansible playbooks and roles.
- Experience with cloud platforms AWS/Azure/GCP, containerization Docker, and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE).
- Educational qualification: Bachelor of Engineering (BE/B.Tech) or Master's (M.Tech), MCA, or MBA.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to operate at senior associate level in cloud infrastructure and automation focusing on scalability and reliability.
- Strong technical expertise in Terraform, Ansible, container orchestration (Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI).
- Experienced in observability and incident management using monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
