About This Role
- Own and deliver assigned development tasks independently within an existing React Native production app for iOS and Android.
- Build, enhance, and maintain application features including API integration and reliable asynchronous flows with failure handling and retries.
- Diagnose and fix crashes, performance issues, and platform-specific bugs; ensure functionality through testing and manage code review and release processes.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with ability to work independently in existing codebases.
- 5+ years of hands-on React Native development and maintenance in production mobile applications.
- 5+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript and React experience including hooks, component design, navigation, and state management.
- 5+ years of mobile delivery experience across iOS and Android platforms, with shipping and maintaining features.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in mobile API integration with reliable asynchronous flows including loading states and failure handling.
- Skilled in mobile debugging and testing, able to diagnose platform-specific bugs and performance issues on real devices.
- Capable of quickly understanding and owning existing codebase work, clarifying development scope, and managing delivery end-to-end.
