About This Role
- Architect, design, and optimize SAP EWM/WM solutions for Amgen’s global manufacturing, packaging, and distribution network.
- Provide technical leadership and proactive support across multiple global sites and time zones as part of the SAP WM/SRM/EWM expert team.
- Maintain end-to-end documentation and ensure compliance with GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11 standards while resolving data discrepancies between ERP and EWM systems.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years SAP implementation experience in SAP WM and EWM with a master’s/doctorate (or 5-7 years with bachelor’s, or 8-10+ years with diploma in computer science or STEM).
- Hands-on expertise in SAP WM/SRM and EWM solution design and configuration, including SAP S/4HANA EWM (embedded and decentralized).
- Experience supporting interfaces between EWM and warehouse automation systems like ASRS, conveyor systems, MES.
- Strong understanding of GxP regulatory compliance and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements for warehouse systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced SAP architect capable of balancing strategic design with technical hands-on execution in complex global manufacturing/distribution environments.
- Familiarity with Life Sciences or pharmaceutical industry operations, particularly warehousing and logistics execution integration.
- Able to work collaboratively across global teams, coordinate shifting priorities, and maintain detailed compliance documentation.
