About This Role
- Provide L3-level administration and support for RHEL and Ubuntu servers in production and non-production environments.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of OS-level and infrastructure issues including P1/P2 incidents, coordinating across Network, Firewall, Storage, Database, Cloud, and Application teams.
- Support Oracle ExaCC platform maintenance, patching, upgrades, and coordinate with Oracle Support; prepare Root Cause Analysis reports and implement corrective actions.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Ubuntu operating systems.
- Experience supporting Oracle ExaCC environments and platforms.
- Graduate degree required.
- Experience managing and resolving high-severity production outages using ServiceNow (SNOW) for incident, change, and problem management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong expertise in Linux OS-level troubleshooting including CPU, memory, disk, networking, services, and performance tuning.
- Ability to manage cross-functional coordination with diverse infrastructure teams and OEMs (HP, Dell) under critical incident conditions.
- Familiarity with automation of operational tasks and involvement with security vulnerabilities remediation (e.g., VAPT).
