About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, production-grade AI applications and services using modern software engineering practices.
- Build foundational AI platforms and tools that are reusable and scalable enterprise-wide, integrating AI models like LLMs, vector DBs, and AI agents.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders to rapidly deliver AI solutions that solve high-priority business problems.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with ability to independently design and ship complex systems in production.
- Strong programming skills in Python (preferred), Java, or similar languages; experience with microservices, APIs, backend systems.
- Experience integrating machine learning models (e.g., LLMs via APIs, fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, AI agents) into production systems.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and modern DevOps practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building reliable, production-grade AI applications combining strong software engineering with pragmatic AI application.
- Comfortable with end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to deployment and automation, with strong systems thinking and ownership mindset.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools (e.g., LangChain, Haystack, Hugging Face) and working with unstructured data to build AI-powered search, chatbots, or generative AI interfaces.
