About This Role
- Design, write, and test custom IDE rules files to enforce real-time security best practices during development.
- Develop and maintain local automation scripts in Python/Bash for pre-push security code reviews.
- Integrate and optimize GitHub Advanced Security features (CodeQL, Dependabot) and create developer-friendly security documentation.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-7 years of hands-on software development experience with Python, TypeScript, or Go preferred.
- Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/B.E.) required.
- Strong experience with developer tooling including VS Code, Cursor, and their configuration.
- Practical expertise in GitHub Actions, GitHub Advanced Security (CodeQL, Dependabot), and scripting for automation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor with good understanding of their prompt context.
- Skilled at developing efficient, lightweight local automation solutions to enhance developer security workflows.
