About This Role
- Lead architectural decisions and best practices for building scalable catalog management applications.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and document cutting-edge solutions impacting Walmart associates globally.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams, including product management and senior leadership, to drive product roadmap and deliver business-driven products.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years experience in developing highly scalable applications and platform development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST API development, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
- Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases, caching technologies (Redis, Memcache), Kafka, GraphQL, and integrating AI/ML/Gen AI services.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading technical teams with strong communication skills and mentoring capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale platform engineering projects with a focus on quality, cost, and delivery.
- Comfortable working in a global, cross-geography engineering environment interacting with diverse business and technical teams.
