About This Role
- Ensure accurate recording, reporting, and consolidation of General ledger accounting entries including accruals, amortization, reclassifications, and statistical entries.
- Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations, monitor aged open items, and support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for General ledger.
- Extract, modify, analyze monthly financial reports, resolve queries, manage audit deliverables, and maintain/update SOPs and administrative tasks related to accounting operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Work Experience Required: 1 to 5 years in General ledger accounting (preferably 3-5 years with CMA/MBA/M.Com/Semi-qualified or 1-2 years with CA/CPA).
- Experience working with global stakeholders is mandatory.
- Mandatory skills: General ledger accounting, Balance Sheet reconciliations, month-end close processes.
- Oracle ERP experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in General ledger accounting with demonstrated ability in balance sheet reconciliations and monthly close processes involving multinational/global stakeholders.
- Analytical with strong attention to detail and ability to manage aged open items and variance analysis.
- Effective communicator with cross-departmental collaboration experience and ability to work under reporting deadlines and evolving processes.
