About This Role
- Lead end-to-end financial close processes (month-end, quarter-end, year-end) for assigned global markets ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Own balance sheet integrity, account reconciliations, control testing, remediation, and compliance with audit standards.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external auditors, third-party providers; drive process improvements and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA) preferred.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in finance including controllership, close & control, or external audit.
- Experience leading teams across multiple locations or operating models.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS accounting standards, control frameworks, and experience with external audit and statutory reporting.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced finance leader skilled in managing complex global close & control operations and cross-geography teams.
- Proficient in implementing automation, digital close tools, and process improvement in finance functions.
- Background or experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, or global shared services environments with ability to influence senior regional/global stakeholders.
