About This Role
- Develop, test, and maintain Python-based AI-enabled applications and enterprise-scale data products using AWS Bedrock and related cloud services.
- Design, integrate, and support REST APIs and AI capabilities including retrieval-augmented generation, knowledge bases, and chat agents.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and business stakeholders to deliver secure, maintainable solutions adhering to financial regulatory requirements and provide production support.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in software development, data engineering, or application development.
- Proficient in Python programming, SQL with relational databases, REST API development, and AWS services including serverless patterns and AWS Bedrock (required or strongly preferred).
- Experience with AI concepts like Generative AI, prompt engineering, embeddings, and knowledge of financial services domain preferred but not strictly mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Early-career software engineer with strong fundamentals in Python, cloud-native AWS development, and AI-enabled application building.
- Experience working in regulated financial services environment or similar highly regulated domain ensuring compliance and security standards.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams including senior engineers, product owners, and business analysts to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable software solutions.
