About This Role
- Contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities for new or revised application systems in coordination with the Technology team.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve system enhancement issues using knowledge of business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and code writing following design specifications focusing on data-centric projects involving Big Data technologies.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years experience as a Technical Data Analyst or similar role in Financial Services, preferably in regulatory reporting and liquidity risk.
- Proven expertise with Big Data technologies including Hadoop, Spark (PySpark/Scala), Kafka, and cloud data platforms like AWS S3 or Databricks.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Experience across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a focus on data-centric projects.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in regulatory reporting domains such as Basel, CCAR, or FR 2052a within Financial Services.
- Skilled with scripting languages such as Python or R and knowledgeable in data modeling and data governance frameworks.
- Able to manage pressure, deadlines, and changing requirements in a technical data analysis and application development environment.
