About This Role
- Design, build, and optimise end-to-end cloud data platforms and pipelines primarily using Snowflake, AWS, and ETL tools across the bank's multi-year data transformation journey.
- Lead and implement ETL strategy, including complex data transformations, performance tuning, and ensuring code quality through testing and reviews.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality data-centric solutions aligned with core business objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics, or data warehousing projects, including design and development.
- Proficient with Snowflake, dbt, AWS cloud technologies (S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Redshift, etc.), PySpark, SQL, and Teradata; ETL tools experience required (Ab-Initio or equivalents).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering field is mandatory.
- Preferred AWS Certified Data Engineer or equivalent cloud certification; strong Unix/Linux shell scripting skills.
