About This Role
- Process and manage daily margin calls for banks and fund clients involving cash and securities to reduce credit risk.
- Reconcile collateral balances and investigate discrepancies while acting as primary escalation contact.
- Generate reports, conduct portfolio reconciliations, and handle interest processing and substitution activities related to collateral management.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience required in collateral management, finance, or custody with knowledge of OTC markets and derivative instruments.
- Proficient in MS Excel and Outlook; knowledge of MS Access and VBA is essential; PowerPoint and Word are advantageous.
- Graduate degree in Finance, Commerce, or related fields (B.COM, BBA/BBM, MBA Finance, M.COM).
- Certification on NCFM or CISI preferred; knowledge of Macros, SQL & MS Access database queries is desirable.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced handling margin calls and reconciliations in institutional finance or custody environments dealing with banks and funds.
- Detail-oriented with strong numeracy skills able to work under tight deadlines and manage escalations independently.
- Technically proficient with MS Office suite, VBA, SQL, and database querying to support reporting and automation tasks.
