About This Role
- Own technical architecture, design decisions, and delivery outcomes for a small autonomous AI-native engineering team.
- Lead AI-assisted software engineering workflows using tools like Claude Code and OpenAI Codex, integrating AI agents throughout development lifecycle.
- Deliver production-ready software from requirements through deployment and operational support, mentoring two engineers and ensuring quality, security, and scalability.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years professional software engineering experience with demonstrated principal or staff-level technical leadership.
- Strong software design, architecture skills with production delivery and operational management experience.
- Proficiency in at least one primary technology stack and deep understanding of testing, CI/CD, security, observability, and troubleshooting.
- Practical experience with AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, OpenAI Codex) integrated into engineering workflows.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced principal-level engineer comfortable with hands-on coding, mentoring, and making high-impact technical decisions in small teams.
- Skilled in decomposing ambiguous business problems into well-defined technical tasks and delivering end-to-end solutions independently.
- Deep expertise in AI-assisted development workflows, including agentic coding practices, automated validation, and AI-driven engineering infrastructure.
