About This Role
- Lead technical direction and architecture evolution of a large iOS app from UIKit to modern SwiftUI and concurrency models.
- Own complex iOS features end-to-end including voice calling (Twilio Voice, CallKit, PushKit), real-time SMS, notifications, and media playback.
- Build and maintain iOS delivery foundations such as automated code signing, CI testing, TestFlight/App Store release automation, and app observability tooling.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional software development experience with a minimum of 4 years building iOS apps using Swift.
- Expertise in UIKit and SwiftUI including migration strategies, and strong knowledge of Swift Concurrency (async/await, actors).
- Proven experience shipping and operating apps on the App Store; familiar with code signing, TestFlight, App Store Connect processes.
- Experience with iOS networking and authentication (GraphQL or REST, OAuth/OIDC, Keychain) and solid testing practices (XCTest, XCUITest).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior technical lead capable of setting engineering direction and breaking down complex projects into deliverables.
- Deep iOS domain expertise including voice calling, real-time communication features, and modular codebase management using Swift Package Manager.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering teams on complex features in an enterprise SaaS environment.
