About This Role
- Coordinate and manage vessel operations at the port to ensure seamless arrival, departure, and cargo handling without delays.
- Oversee preparation and accuracy of all ship and cargo related documentation including manifests, clearances, and disbursement accounts.
- Liaise between shipowners, port authorities, customs, and other stakeholders to resolve operational issues and ensure regulatory compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of direct experience in shipping operations including vessel boarding and cargo handling.
- Proven knowledge and experience in handling ship agency operations and managing port and customs officials.
- Experience preparing invoices, disbursement accounts (DA), and cost estimates based on port tariffs.
- Location requirement: Mumbai (explicit in JD).

- Experienced in end-to-end ship agency operations including coordination with multiple stakeholders under regulatory and safety frameworks.
- Detail-oriented with capability to manage multiple documentation and clearances accurately and timely.
- Comfortable working in operational roles requiring direct communication with port authorities and customs for smooth vessel movement.
