About This Role
- Lead data governance and privacy processes implementation and continuous improvement across GCIO and GCOO functions.
- Identify, assess, and monitor data governance and privacy risks, control gaps, and coordinate remediation with stakeholders.
- Prepare governance documentation, provide management updates, and support stakeholder awareness and training initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of substantial experience in data management, governance, privacy, risk, business analysis or project management within banking or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of data governance principles including data quality, ownership, stewardship, lineage, and responsible data use.
- Working knowledge of data privacy and protection, including privacy-by-design, retention, sourcing, and cross-border data movement.
- Practical experience with DataVisa requirements related to data use, access, transfer, and storage.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in navigating complex regulatory, risk, and compliance environments within financial services data governance.
- Capable of translating regulatory and control requirements into actionable governance procedures and controls.
- Able to manage multiple initiatives with attention to detail and consistent delivery under demanding timelines.
