About This Role
- Lead design, development, and troubleshooting of secure, high-quality Java-based software solutions using AWS, Kafka, and related technologies.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted software engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational stability within the team.
- Lead evaluations of external and internal technical solutions to ensure architectural fit and business alignment.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of applied experience with formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
- Advanced proficiency in Java, Springbok, NoSQL, Apache Spark, AWS, and Kafka.
- Experience leading use of AI-assisted software development tools including validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Work Experience Required: 5+ years applied experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in financial services IT systems, with in-depth domain knowledge relevant to banking technology.
- Practiced in agile methodologies including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security operations.
- Capable of leading technical teams with a focus on operational stability, automation of recurring issues, and secure coding standards.
