About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain high-throughput Java 21/25 backend microservices and REST APIs using Spring Boot for Vendor Master Central platform.
- Develop resilient data ingestion, transformation, and reconciliation pipelines handling complex large datasets with relational databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle).
- Act as a technical leader within an agile squad, driving engineering excellence via TDD/BDD, CI/CD automation, containerization, and mentoring junior engineers.
Minimum Requirements
- 5–8+ years of hands-on software development focused on Java (versions 21 or 25) and Spring Boot framework.
- Strong experience in RESTful API design, microservice architecture, relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL), and building data ingestion/batch processing pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito), CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker/OpenShift), and Linux environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced backend engineer comfortable owning large-scale enterprise data platforms with complex ingestion and reconciliation workflows.
- Familiar with cloud-native development practices including containerization, automated pipelines, and test-driven development.
- Knowledge or interest in full-stack technologies (React/TypeScript) and AI-assisted development tools for higher engineering velocity is a plus but not mandatory.
