About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain high-throughput backend RESTful APIs and Spring Boot microservices handling large-scale data ingestion and reconciliation.
- Develop and optimize relational data models and complex ETL pipelines for multi-source datasets ensuring transactional integrity and audit logging.
- Serve as a technical lead and mentor within a global agile squad, driving engineering best practices and collaborating on full-stack features.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-8+ years of hands-on Java development experience, specifically Java 21/25 and Spring Boot.
- Strong expertise with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL), SQL performance tuning, data modeling, and transactional integrity.
- Proven experience building data ingestion, transformation, and batch processing pipelines with solid unit/integration testing discipline (JUnit, Mockito).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced backend engineer with strong microservices and REST API design background comfortable with large-scale data systems and enterprise integration patterns.
- Familiar with DevOps tooling including containerization (Docker/OpenShift), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks indicating ownership of production-grade services.
- Has worked in cross-functional global teams and can mentor junior engineers, exhibiting autonomy in architectural decisions and delivering features independently.
