About This Role
- Design and deliver scalable AI-enabled backend services, RESTful APIs, microservices, and data pipelines using Java (Spring Boot) and Python.
- Act as technical lead for a sprint team, guiding design, technical decisions, delivery, and resolving engineering blockers.
- Lead Agile ceremonies and mentor engineers while driving engineering quality, observability, security, and production support.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience including backend development and technical leadership.
- Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot) and good working knowledge of Python.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, SQL databases (PostgreSQL or similar), AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka or similar technologies.
- Work Experience Required: 7+ years professional software engineering experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in hands-on technical leadership and pragmatic architecture decision-making within Agile squads.
- Strong background in AI-assisted development tools and responsible use of AI technologies including LLM APIs and RAG-based solutions.
- Skilled in maintaining secure, scalable, resilient, and well-documented systems with a methodical approach to production issue resolution.
