About This Role
- Manage end-to-end IT procurement processes including sourcing of hardware, services, and project materials ensuring timely availability aligned with business needs.
- Drive strategic sourcing initiatives involving OEMs, distributors, channel partners, and system integrators, including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, supplier selection, and contract finalization with measurable cost savings.
- Conduct techno-commercial evaluations and negotiations to optimize pricing, payment terms, delivery, warranties, AMCs, SLAs, and manage vendor relationships and supplier performance.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, and vendor management focused on IT equipment sourcing.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or relevant field.
- Proficiency in procurement processes, RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, vendor evaluation, contract management, and ERP systems such as NetSuite or Oracle.
- Knowledge of procurement compliance, financial controls, and statutory regulations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in handling procurement for IT hardware like Wi-Fi access points, switches, routers, structured cabling, and storage solutions.
- Skilled in techno-commercial analysis, advanced negotiation, and cost optimization for IT procurement.
- Familiar with strategic vendor relationship management involving major technology vendors and complex sourcing lifecycles.
