Job description
Structured overview of role & requirements
About This Role
- Build, operate, and harden container workloads on Amazon ECS (Fargate/EC2) and EKS including image lifecycle and vulnerability remediation.
- Author and review Terraform modules for a multi-account AWS landing zone applying least-privilege IAM, KMS, and per-client isolation; build CI/CD pipelines with security and auditing features.
- Operate and govern Amazon Bedrock platform capabilities with guardrails, logging, cost controls, define SLIs/SLOs, lead incident response, maintain ISO 27001, SOC 2 and DORA evidence, and participate in on-call rotation.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years in cloud, platform, DevOps or SRE engineering, including 2+ years running production workloads on AWS.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, ECS and/or Kubernetes in production.
- Proficient in Terraform (or CloudFormation/CDK) as primary provisioning tool, including module design and code review.
- Experience building and owning end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, strong Linux fundamentals, scripting in Python/Go/Bash, cloud networking (VPC, subnets, routing, security groups, DNS, TLS, load balancing), IAM with least privilege, practical observability, and experience with AWS Bedrock or comparable LLM platforms.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced engineer comfortable with operational ownership including on-call and incident response in a regulated environment (ISO 27001, SOC 2, DORA).
- Strong expertise in AWS container services and infrastructure as code, with a focus on security and compliance automation.
- Capable of working on multi-account complex AWS environments, building secure CI/CD pipelines, and managing LLM platform integrations at scale.
