About This Role
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend microservices for the Channel Security platform using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka.
- Collaborate with Lead Engineer and DevOps to ensure resilient, observable, and high-quality services in a cloud-native environment.
- Participate actively in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and code reviews following a 'you build it, you run it' culture.
Minimum Requirements
- 9-14 years of software engineering experience focused on backend systems.
- Proficiency in modern Java (Java 17+), Spring Boot, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud-native environments (preferably GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or LLMs to enhance engineering productivity.

- Experienced backend engineer with expertise in distributed, event-driven systems and real-time processing.
- Comfortable working in a lean, agile team with active involvement in quality assurance and operational support.
