About This Role
- Lead modernization of Procurement application portfolio, including assessment, re-platforming, refactoring, integration, data migration, and retirement of legacy applications.
- Design, develop, deploy and support cloud-based (AWS) scalable applications with ReactJS frontend and Java Spring Boot backend, including generative AI use cases implementation.
- Own end-to-end delivery: requirements analysis, solution design, coding, testing, deployment, code reviews, defect resolution and post-go-live support, promoting reusable components and engineering standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience: Proven delivery of at least one large-scale application modernization, cloud migration, or legacy platform transformation.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in ReactJS, Java, Spring Boot, AWS cloud solutions, generative AI (specifically Amazon Bedrock), and data solutions with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SnapLogic.
- Location & Availability: Must be based in Bangalore, India; onsite work required 5 days a week; up to 10% travel possible; Visa sponsorship not available.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in procurement or supplier management business processes or related enterprise domains, with strong understanding of procurement pain points and modernization priorities.
- Demonstrated capability to work with globally distributed teams and influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.
- Proven ability to establish and promote modern front-end/back-end architecture standards, reusable engineering patterns, and DevSecOps practices in application portfolios.
