About This Role
- Design, build, and optimize scalable financial analytics applications and data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and SQL on Databricks (AWS).
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, researchers, and technology teams to translate financial requirements into robust, maintainable, and performant solutions supporting investment analytics.
- Own end-to-end delivery including investigation and resolution of complex production issues and contributing to technical standards and best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of experience delivering technology solutions, preferably in asset management or financial services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, advanced SQL, Databricks, and large-scale data processing on cloud (AWS preferred).
- Strong financial domain knowledge with experience in returns, holdings, benchmarks, performance measurement, and attribution concepts.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building scalable data platforms and analytical solutions within investment management or capital markets domain.
- Comfortable working independently with ownership over full software development lifecycle in Agile environments.
- Able to bridge technical and financial domain expertise, effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders including portfolio managers and researchers.
