About This Role
- Lead multiple engineering teams and Engineering Managers to ensure delivery quality, engineering excellence, and predictable outcomes across multiple customer engagements.
- Provide technical leadership by partnering with Architects and Engineering Managers to identify risks, evaluate trade-offs, and enforce engineering standards, especially in modern application development, cloud, DevOps, and AI technologies.
- Own delivery governance including customer relationships, escalations, resource planning, utilization forecasting, portfolio financial health, and drive continuous improvement and adoption of emerging technologies.
Minimum Requirements
- 15–18+ years of software engineering and engineering leadership experience.
- Strong background in core technologies such as Java, .NET, APIs, web technologies, or databases.
- Experience managing multiple engineering teams and Engineering Managers; transitioned from engineering/technical to management roles.
- Strong understanding of modern software engineering, Agile delivery, architecture principles, cloud (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud preferred), DevOps, and engineering practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader capable of balancing technical credibility with people leadership and delivery governance across multiple teams.
- Familiar with cloud-native architectures, platform engineering, observability, AI-assisted software engineering, and application modernization.
- Proactive in driving engineering standards, communities of practice, and has experience with presales and fostering customer growth.
