About This Role
- Evaluate and test internal controls across global business units to support Business Risk Management in improving the bank’s control environment.
- Perform operational effectiveness testing on behalf of the First Line of Defence for all business lines and locations of State Street.
- Apply risk-based assurance techniques including walkthroughs, sampling, documenting testing, identifying exceptions/root causes, and presenting issues to stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- 2 to 4 years experience in risk and control assessment, audit, or testing.
- Experience assessing control design and operating effectiveness for compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
- Proficiency in English communication with internal stakeholders, including senior levels.
- Work Experience Required: 2 to 4 years in related risk/control/audit environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in Big4 or large multinational financial services firm performing risk management or control/process assessment (e.g. SOX, SOC, Internal Audit).
- Familiarity with control testing concepts including population identification, sampling, and root cause analysis.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks independently in deadline-driven environments, and able to communicate findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
