About This Role
- Manage and remediate server infrastructure vulnerabilities ensuring compliance with Link Group security policies.
- Support escalation and resolution of severity 1 and 2 IT incidents outside normal business hours including weekends.
- Collaborate with IT Security teams for deployment and updating of anti-virus agents and assist in audits and compliance checks.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of IT experience with at least 2 years in server operational roles.
- Advanced knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Azure) and core Microsoft infrastructure including Active Directory.
- Ability to work outside normal business hours consistently for vulnerability remediation.
- Understanding of multiple OS platforms including Windows and UNIX (Ubuntu, Oracle, Red Hat, CentOS).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in physical and virtual server management with strong troubleshooting across diverse OS platforms.
- Familiar with patch management tools like HCL BigFix and vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable.IO Nessus.
- Skilled in automation scripting (PowerShell, BASH, batch files) and confident managing security compliance in enterprise environments.
