About This Role
- Lead strategy and delivery of Karya’s Impact Program with a two-year plan starting Feb 2027, aiming to double participant incomes within one year.
- Manage field operations across 5+ Indian states, overseeing ~10,000 workers and ensuring timely onboarding, partner quality, training, and support.
- Build partnerships with NGOs and community groups, design worker selection, pay, and skilling models, and ensure 60%+ of workers certified in two or more digital skills.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years experience in livelihoods, skilling, or women’s economic empowerment with 2+ years leading large-scale programs.
- Experience managing multi-state programs with grassroots partners and leading distributed field teams.
- Fluency in English and at least one other Indian language; strong communication skills.
- Comfort with budgets, data analytics, and donor reporting.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader in multi-state, community-focused programs with grassroots partnerships.
- Background or strong interest in digital/platform-based livelihoods, tech for social good, or inclusion programs (e.g. disability, ultra-poor).
- Proven ability designing pay/incentive models for low-income workers and balancing impact with operational execution.
