About This Role
- Lead and manage discrete audits or significant workstreams involving EHS and sustainability, including planning scope, criteria, and risk-based sampling.
- Direct fieldwork and evaluate audit evidence to produce defensible audit conclusions and influence client remediation actions.
- Mentor junior auditors, contribute to audit capability development, and support business development through client engagement and knowledge sharing.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience leading environmental, EHS, and regulatory compliance consulting projects, including team management.
- Degree or higher in environmental science, engineering, EHS, sustainability, or related discipline.
- Subject-matter expertise in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001, or closely related audit standards with advanced audit methodology and risk assessment skills.
- Professional certifications such as ISO Lead Auditor qualifications or equivalent internationally recognized audit and EHS certifications preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience leading complex environmental compliance, EHS, and management system audits for multinational clients, especially across North America and EMEA.
- Demonstrated capability in leading audits in high-hazard sectors like mining, oil and gas, petrochemicals, pulp and paper, or power generation.
- Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams, mentoring junior staff and developing audit knowledge and client relationships.
