About This Role
- Lead and develop Cloud Platform Engineering teams with technical direction, coaching, and accountability for engineering outcomes.
- Drive end-to-end engineering execution from planning to continuous improvement, focusing on platform reliability, scalability, and developer experience.
- Shape platform architecture and strategy in collaboration with product and engineering leaders, ensuring secure, resilient, efficient cloud platform capabilities.
Minimum Requirements
- 15+ years of software engineering experience, including building and evolving SaaS or cloud platform products.
- Experience managing a team of approximately 15 or more engineers with a balance of people leadership and hands-on technical involvement.
- Strong hands-on background in Java, Go, or Python with in-depth coding, code review, and architecture evaluation skills.
- Experience with cloud-native technologies and platform tooling such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform (or equivalent IaC), and CI/CD pipelines.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership of Cloud Platform Engineering teams accountable for architecture, execution, and operational excellence.
- Deep technical expertise in cloud-native distributed systems on AWS or equivalent, including multi-tenant, high availability, resilience, security, and cost optimization.
- Track record of incorporating AI/automation to improve engineering productivity, quality, and platform operations with measurable impact.
