About This Role
- Own and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Cisco SD-WAN platforms including upgrades, migrations, security remediation, and modernization.
- Provide Level 4 technical troubleshooting and engineering support for complex SD-WAN incidents across Cisco Viptela and new SD-WAN technologies such as Fortinet and Palo Alto.
- Design and support platform integrations, automation, and APIs to improve operational efficiency and ensure platform reliability and security.
Minimum Requirements
- 9+ years of networking experience in enterprise or service provider environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) platforms and advanced networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRF, IPsec, MPLS, QoS, DNS, NAT).
- Experience with platform lifecycle management including upgrades and root cause analysis.
- Working knowledge of automation technologies including Python, REST APIs, Git, and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced senior engineer with deep expertise in Cisco SD-WAN and familiarity with expanding SD-WAN technology stacks (Fortinet, Palo Alto).
- Technically hands-on with a strong affinity for platform engineering, automation, and complex troubleshooting at Level 4 support.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional global teams to influence platform direction and deliver scalable network solutions.
