About This Role
- Provide technical leadership and direction for product development, overseeing architecture and design decisions for scalability, performance, and sustainability.
- Translate business priorities into technical strategy, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and customer needs while maintaining end-to-end technical ownership of products.
- Drive engineering quality, manage technical debt, enforce secure software practices, and coordinate cross-team execution including mentoring and DevSecOps promotion.
Minimum Requirements
- Eight or more years of experience in programming and systems design.
- Strong expertise in Java; experience with Quadient/Inspire, ODM, OIPA, or Life platform is a plus but not mandatory.
- Undergraduate degree in computer science, management information systems, mathematics, or related field is strongly preferred.
- Work remotely aligned to India business hours; Hybrid work model with periodic office collaboration.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced technical lead comfortable setting engineering direction and managing cross-functional teams in agile and global environments.
- Comfortable with applying secure software engineering practices and driving product alignment with business goals in insurance or financial services domains (knowledge a plus).
- Proficient in managing technical debt, operational risk, and implementing modern engineering practices including CI/CD, cloud computing, and software security.
