About This Role
- Lead a full-stack engineering team (backend and mobile) to design and develop early-stage innovative fintech products.
- Drive product feature design and implementation aligned with business metrics like user acquisition, cross-selling, and UX improvements.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage engineers, ensuring strong execution through rapid experimentation, navigating ambiguity, and prioritizing MVP launches.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a managerial tech lead role.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including PMs, Analysts, and mobile/backend engineers.
- This is a hybrid role based in Bengaluru with 2 days/week onsite work requirement.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to both code and architect scalable, maintainable software and to lead and coach engineering teams effectively.
- Experience delivering high-quality results on critical infrastructure or fintech-related products, preferably payment systems.
- Comfortable making pragmatic decisions in fast-changing environments and managing evolving priorities and frequent pivots.
