About This Role
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage by analyzing business requirements and defining acceptance criteria with stakeholders.
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks for UI and REST API testing using Playwright and Selenium.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance testing productivity and quality.
Minimum Requirements
- 5–8 years total work experience with 2–5 years in software testing or quality engineering including manual and automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript) and/or Selenium (Java) including framework design patterns like POM and data-driven testing.
- Experience testing REST APIs using tools like Playwright, Postman/Newman with validations for status codes, schema, authentication, and negative scenarios.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), Git, and defect/test management tools (e.g., Jira).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in insurance or financial services domain testing preferred but not mandatory.
- Skilled in both manual and automation testing across functional, regression, and integration test phases and environments (SIT, UAT).
- Comfortable working in agile cross-functional teams and applying AI-assisted testing tools and emerging testing technologies.
