About This Role
- Manage end-to-end General Ledger accounting including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Prepare and post journal entries, perform bank reconciliations, maintain Fixed Asset Register, and manage intercompany and payroll accounting attachments.
- Coordinate with audit, FP&A and cross-functional teams; build automated reports and AI-driven reporting solutions using approved tools like Claude and Copilot.
Minimum Requirements
- 8–10 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in ITES/shared services environments.
- Qualifications: Commerce graduate with MBA (Finance) or CA Inter with relevant hands-on experience.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and IND-AS/IGAAP, GL accounting, reconciliations, accrual accounting, payroll, and fixed asset accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Coupa, FloQast, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing statutory audits, tax audits, and STPI compliances within a cost-plus business model environment.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams including AP, Tax, Payroll, and FP&A for reconciliations and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial reporting automation and leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and accuracy.
