About This Role
- Lead and manage the Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) function, including strategy, team hiring, development, and standards for AI-native engineering within Enterprise AI.
- Own and maintain Director-level business unit (BU) sponsor relationships to bring and deliver strategic AI use cases, personally handling the most critical FDE engagements.
- Ensure governance compliance, performance reporting, and cross-functional leadership coordination within Enterprise AI delivery pipeline.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 18+ years of software engineering and AI/ML engineering experience with significant senior engineering leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong technical expertise in GenAI patterns (agents, multi-agent orchestration, RAG, evaluation) and daily use of AI coding agents.
- Experience managing senior engineering teams, maintaining senior stakeholder relationships, and delivering AI solutions in customer-facing roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader accustomed to strategic AI engineering roles at scale, preferably with prior leadership at AI-native companies (e.g., Anthropic, Palantir, OpenAI).
- Ability to set AI engineering standards organization-wide, aligning technical delivery with business priorities and governance requirements.
- Familiar with regulated industries such as pharma or healthcare, and comfortable operating at the intersection of cutting-edge AI and enterprise business units.
